Why We Need New Docks

Our current swim docks have served us well—but years of exposure to wind, waves, and harsh Manitoba winters have taken their toll. Despite ongoing maintenance, they will not last much longer. Continuing to rely on them risks safety, limits programming, and threatens one of the most important traditions at the Club.

Without safe, functional docks:

• Swimming lessons cannot run effectively

• Access to the water is limited for children

• A cornerstone of our summer programming is at risk

Each summer, children participate in swimming lessons at Victoria Beach Club. These lessons are more than just a seasonal activity—they are essential life skills that build confidence, safety awareness, and a love of the water.
